Kathleen's Story

After high school I attended and graduated from MSUM. I worked at Kmart during college. I met my husband in Mankato thru a mutual friend. We have been married since July 1987 and have one son Sam. He is a junior at Mankato West high. It has been fun going back to the school for special events. Sam is more active in High School activities then I was. I am grateful for that. He is involved in drama and music. My husband is an accountant and has his own business. I am a preschool teacher. I teach 4 and 5 year olds. I get them the year before Kindergarten. It is fun and exciting to see them grow in that one year! I am ...Expand for more
very active in my church community as well. We live in Skyline not far from my parents home. My younger brother lives next door to us. That is nice, we don't see them a lot so I guess you would say that we are respectful of each others' privacy. It is nice knowing that when you are away family is looking out for your property. We have a an eight year old 4 lbs yorkie dog and a 4 year old calico cat. It is fun to watch them play together. We love to travel to Las Vegas it is not unusual for us to vacation there 2 times a year. I would like to take a vacation to Mexico, or Hawaii or even take a cruise in the near future.
