Kathleen's Story
I lived in Sharp Park until I was five and then lived in Vallemar until 1960. I attended Sharp Park School until 7th grade, then Linda Mar School for 8th grade. I went to Wesmoor in Daly City from 1957 to 1960, then Campbell H.S. for 6 months before returning to Westmoor to graduate. I've gone to Jr. College and City College in S.F. and some work at Stanford University. I went from stenography to word processing to computer programming and ending with systems analysis. rucks by Ford. So many people stared I had a job avoiding accidents. I've moved around a lot but fit in being a foster parent and genealogy. Right now I live in Washington state with my husband watching my two grandchildren grow up. My first husband passed away in 1995. Diabetes has taken a toll on me but I still keep busy. The only thing in town are four carriers all in the process of being stripped down for possible museums. The Kitty Hawk is my favorite as we are a Navy family. I have a son who is 45 and doesn't look a thing like me, a duplicate of his father. That's a mercy!
