Life After leaving Middletown RI (as many did who shared my military upbringing),I spent one year at URI then moved with my parents to West Point, NY. I met my husband, Arnie, while attending college in Middletown, NY in 1974, and we married in July 1976. We relocated to Seattle in 1979. Now I find myself looking at the next decades without the partner I had planned to share my whole life with, as he died in November of 2002. Together we raised a family, two daughters: Deirdre, our older daugher is married to a wonderful man, Gered, and they have one girl, Maeve Marie, now two, who is in the photo on my profile; she is much cuter than I am! Katrina, our younger daughter, is 22. She is working and living nearby in West Seattle. I feel so fortunate to have both of my daughters grand daughter and son in law so nearby.
