Kathryn's Story
So....
I still live in middle Tennessee. That will change soon. I so do not enjoy the south. Having lived most of my life in the northern regions of the globe, I still have not adjusted to the weather here. And that is after 6 years.
I completed my first full length feature screenplay, entitled "ENDANGERED". MGM studios has shown some interest. I'm crossing my fingers, but still shopping it around. Its a drama and appropriately titled.
I am currently working on my second. No title mentioned yet, as it has not been registered with the WGA or copyrighted, as of yet. A sci-fi thriller. I am very excited about this.
November holds the annual pitch fest for FinalDraft in New York City. I will be attending to pitch both the first, second and hopefully third films of my screenwriting career. Its a good year for spec sales. I feel good about upcoming successes.
I experienced a short reprieve from my Lupus this spring. Not very long lived, but much enjoyed. My illness has returned and each time it does its a bit more painful and difficult. Right now I'm currently enjoying the awesome company of my fibromyalgia and schloderma. Yeahs and claps:) (thats a funny ha ha on one of my sons girlfriends. she writes t...Expand for more
hat in her notes and I usually make fun of her with it)
Trevor is but months away from moving to Florida and attending Full Sail University. Its an arts school and he will be majoring in music production. Its quite a famous playground for the entertainment student, so I'm very excited for him.
Landon is a senior this year and planning on attending Full Sail next year. He will be majoring in the movie animation arts. He is quite talented. A bit immodest, but deserved.
Trenton is a junior this year. Just started his first job after turning 16 and has already planned on the Air Force as an SP (special police), to transfer to SWAT when he get out and joins the civiilan world again. I am very proud, as my husband is a retired US Army Blackhawke test pilot.
Pete is doing well. He has joined me in pursuing a writing career and is collaborating on my projects. We make a pretty good team:)
Looking to the days ahead and planning for our move to Minnesota when Trenton graduates. Pete, however is already researching boats and has his eye on a 3 million dollar yacht by Nordhaven. He thinks we're going to sail the high seas. I think he's crazy if he thinks I'll be stuck in the middle of the mid-Atlantic with 7 dogs. HA!
