Kathryn's Story
Life
Pets - I only have Ozzie (102# Rottie/shepard) and black cat Marty. All others passed om. Rescued over 150 cats.
Best accomplishments I have are my kids -- Jake, 46, graduated from Univ of Albany, NY - BA in Anthropology. He lives in Colorado, is an avid snowboarder with the daredevil in him, and works for a condominium resort. Brian,45, works in Patient Access for Oswego Health and has three sons: Noah Wyatt, Xavier Robert and Avery Mihalek. Brian graduated from Univ of Oswego, NY - BS in Wellness Management - Cum Laude.
I stepped down as President of Fulton Art Association after 22 yrs. Also worked with Fulton's Histirical Society. I am now retired.
I still have contact with former students I taught, even after 32 years --- hard to believe it's been that long ...and even harder to believe that it's been 53 years since high school....where did it go?
College

Seems like eons ago .... but since graduating from college I've taken 21 credits beyond that ole BA ... from Accounting I-II to computer classes and now FrontPage2003 web design which was a nightmare! (Fun actually when the computers and software worked!) You're never too old to learn! I no longer decorate cakes after 48 yrs teaching and decorating cakes.
Workplace
I've retired from clerical -- "support staff" it's called now! -- after 45 years. Also worked in teaching -- in private school, subbing in Special Education and public schools, and taught adult education. I've worked at clerical, decorating cakes, teaching cake decorating, and other things like KFC and Hickory Farms all at the same time! Didn't "flip burgers" but did make KFC's cole slaw, biscuits, and filled orders! Retired as a Senior Typist for Oswego County BOCES, secretary to Arts In Education Dept and also as Secty for Asst Supt of Instructional Support Services and Strategic Planning. I lost my twin, Kristen, on Nov 4, 2021 to cancer.
