Life
My Pets
I currently have 3 dogs. My big guy is half Great Dane and half Doberman. He's the biggest wimp you ever saw! My little guy is a 13-year=old miniature red poodle with no teeth. He's the only one known to bite! I'm currently dog-sitting for my daughter who is in the Army. Her girl is half Chow and half Australian Shephard. I've been told they have me well trained.
My Kids
My daughter is pursuing a career in the Army and just returned from a 6-month tour of Kosovo. When she came home from basic training, she said, "Mom, after living with you, basic training was easy!" survive in the wild without curlers and boom boxes. She already knew how to hunt and fish and clean and cook what she caught. She holds the distinction of being one of the few people to high center a humvee. Naturally, the Army put her to work training others to drive humvees.
My Job
I get to design (and debug) business application software others use to input data and make business decisions. Most of the time I stare at a computer screen trying to figure out why something doesn't work the way it should. It's such a rush, though, when I finally fix the problem and it works. It's kind of awesome knowing that thousands, if not millions, of people will be using programs that I've had a part of developing.
