My nickname was Goober and most people called me that. They even called my mother Mrs. Goober ONCE. She almost had a heart attack because she didn't believe in nicknames and I had never told her that the freshman class had given me one. Loyola with a ton of my classmates, so the nick name traveled to Loyola much to my mother's disgust. I took pre med but decided I'd rather be married than go to med school and so I did. Been married to the same man for over 40 years, had 3 children(one of whom just died) and 4 grandchildren. Live in Metairie and work at Ochsner.
