Kathy Carroll:  

I went to SWVCC and Marshall University and was a teacher for 39 years. I taught reading, creative writing and math as a Title I teacher. I also taught in a regular classroom in Several elementary schools in Logan County WV before I retired. I have been married to Joe Carroll, a computer/math teacher at the Secondary school level for over 30 years and I have 1 daughter Ashley. Ashley is an Optometrist at Southern Eye Care in Oak Hill, WV. I enjoy gardening, singing, and going to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. I still live in the Logan area, but enjoy traveling when I can. Interior decorating is interesting to me as well as remodeling. Our house was remodeled in 2002, but there is always more to do. I was going to be a physical therapist, but decided to be a teacher instead. I liked to baby-sit my nieces and nephews and thought it would be a "good fit".
