Kathy's Story
After high school I joined the Army and did my training at Ft Jackson, SC. I was station at 25th Inf Scho. Field Bks. Hawaii, Ft Hood, TX, Ft Polk, LA, Ft Lee, VA and last but not least Germany. I come back to Houma with my son in 1992. I worked a couple of places and took care of my parents and son while I lived in Houma. d left I was out of there. I now live in Florida and love living here, I finish getting my degree last year. In 2012 my son and I bought a house here in Florida, because he loves it here also. I just wish I would have moved here sooner so my son could have gotten a real high school education. But the only thing I do miss from Houma is the seafood, can't get that here in Florida.
