Kathy's Story
I am living in Alabama now and enjoying it a whole bunch.
it has be now 35 years and there has been many changes, but no plans to ever leave. I have a seeing eye dog now, and her name is Wendy. She is a 8 year old yellow Lab, and she is Great too! Autumn was been retired and still with me but living a life of just be a family pet. She is in now, 12 years old. I have only one daughter left at home. Kayce is in the 12th Grade and is being homeschool. Can you imagine, a low vision blind person teaching high school education. I can only imagine the teacher's union talking about that. Kayce did a wonderful job on the SAT,
My life is my family. I enjoy doing and going places with them. When you homeschool, you can take vacation anytime. We have taken many and looking forward to more in the future. I have a loving husband who makes me very happy, and I am very proud of him, because both he and my son, James, have and are in the Army, serving this country, to protect us, and to keep us, a Free N...Expand for more
ation. My husband served in the Vietnam War, wounded, and returned and wounded again, but never said quit. He teaches the Examiner Course for Army Avaition. He has a lot of fun in life and it makes me happy too! He has made me very proud to be his wife. James, our oldest son, is a Chief Warrant Officer (W5), the highest rank in the Army, that one can go in the Warrant Officer Division. He is looking to be heading to the Pentagon next year, 2013. Patrick, the our next son, former Navy, works in Tenn. working as an Inspector to Replenishing Aircrafts from all over the world. Mandi, our daughter, is working as a Supervisor for a company as a Criminal Investigator - Background Checks. And then, there is Kayce, working at completing the Senior Year of High School. My kids maybe spread out over the years, but I have learned that life is to short and tomorrow is still coming, so might as well get ready for it, with a Big Smile!
