Kathy's Story
Life
I moved to the DFW area of Texas in 1984, after spending 12 years in Columbus, graduating from Ohio State and then working as Purchasing Agent for the Cols Housing Authority. In 1989 I married Jim Hall, a mechanical engineer. I worked as Purchasing or Materials Manager in two hospitals for 11 years. Helped raise two stepsons who lived with us 6 months of each year. RV during the summer. We love Texas in the winter, and try to have family down to visit then, including my Dad who will be 80 in February but doesn't look or act it.
I am now office manager for my husband who is a mechanical engineering consultant. We have two 13 year old cats who rule the roost, and I love gardening and native plants and environmental causes. Traveling in an RV is not environmentally kind, but it is the only way to get back to the midwest and see family, which is too important to give up right now.
