Kathy's Story
I attended 3 high schools, having moved from Eugene Oregon to Los Angeles (Glendale and Granada Hills), so the names of Classmates that stand out are friends I knew for only 1 year, or that I attended Jr-Sr high school with in Eugene. I guess I was involved in yearbook activities, and attended football games. I took French, and Spanish, and went on to study languages in college. The limitations of an academic Catholic education, but maybe I've expanded beyond that. Though job-wise always connected to education in some way. Hmmm...maybe you remember more than me.
I hope it's still possible to become reacquainted, and that any of you who are reading this are happy and healthy! I love meeting new people, and ones from my past (so long ago!) I love to discover what is important to you, whether it's politics, family, gardens, nature, or work.
My son says "I don't think you have the word retirement in your vocabulary", but in fact I do! Just a bit of a non-traditional plan, ...Expand for more
or maybe not. Maybe some of my former classmates travel, exchange homes, run a B&B or vacation rental. Or work online when the spirit moves them!
You can find out more about me on our vacation home rental listing for Victoria (Cadboro Bay) Or on my blogspot blog...where I talk about my recent experience in China. Can't list here, so I can send if you write to me.
I married a Canadian, Erich Mueller, that I met on Mercer Island when attending U.W. Moved to BC in 1967, and have 2 daughters and a son (born in Vietnam). Though over the past few years I travelled a lot, and moved from Prince George back to Victoria, I am now back in Victoria for a 4-month contract as coordinator for Women in Trades Training (career entry) program. It's exciting, because for several years I have worked mainly online. Or lived and worked in Suzhou, China. Prince George is a whole other culture and experience compared to Victoria, and son Tien lives here so I'm glad to be back for a few months.
