Kathy's Story
Life
I left my home of Davenport,IA in 1980 and moved to South Florida. I got a job with the City of Hialeah (west of Miami). I was a 911 call-taker from 1982 for the City of Hialeah Police Dept and retired in 2007.. I married in 1990 and divorced in 2009. I have 2 grown sons, Nicholas and Tommy..
I enjoy photography, researching thru the net, my family history, as well as being an avid weather enthusiast. In 2001 I took up storm chasing as a hobby. Its is costly but I simply adore it. Catching a tornado is the most exhilarating yet humbling experience I have had the fortune of witnessing!!

3 years later, after the 35th reunion, I got together with former classmate, Tom Williams and life has not been better since then. A few months after we started talking he moved south to FL. After living together for 2 years, on April 29, 2017, we went back to Iowa where we married at Modern Woodman Park. Life is good!! He is working in a nearby town, and we do lots together!
Workplace
I began working for the Hialeah Police Dept in Hialeah, Florida in 1982 as a 911 call-taker. There were some calls that I took that I will never forget due to the nature and content of violence in them. I dont know what else I would have done in my life, but this seems to have suited me well. I made my retirement on January 31, 2007!! Im done.
