Life
Am a Registered Psychiatric Nurse,working in a provincial mental hospital in the geriatric division.Haved lived in British Columbia since leaving Tacoma in 1967.Have been active in my union,both locally and at the provincial level, and it is the only union in Canada that represents only psychiatric nurses.RPNs' are trained and employed in the 4 western provinces.The training is the same length as general nursing bu...Expand for more
t is a speciality course.I still have family living in the Tacoma area and travel there 2-3 times a year.
update--Retired from the hospital last year and now keep busy volunteering. I do a shift a week at our Community Police Station and hold a B/P clinic twice a month at the local seniors center. Am involved in some committee work and am on the Board of our hospital museum. I am hoping to do some traveling in the future.
