Kathy's Story
Life
Let's see. After having been moved to the upper valley by my parents, I spent my last two years of high school at **gasp** Coronado, where I graduated.
I attended New Mexico State University and graduated with a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Russian. I left asap and moved to a job in the computer biz at IBM in Austin. I met my husband there.
After a few years, we started our family: son born 1990 and daughter bor...Expand for more
n 1992. I then "retired" to become a full-time mom. When my youngest began elementary school, I began substitute teaching, and decided to do it full time. I attended classes at Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State), and received my M.Ed and my teaching certificate.
So now I teach 6th grade when I'm not following my teenagers around in their extracurricular activities (marching band, drill/dance team, theatre, etc.).
