Kathy's Story

Life After DNHS, I went to ENMU in Portales. After graduation, off to Mankato, MN, for graduate school. Worked as graveyard shift secretary for the police/sheriff dept. to get through school. In 1979, I went into the military. I became an Air Force officer. Injuries incurred while in the military forced me to resign my commission. Since then, it's been quite a journey. I've lived in many places, to include Hawaii for 14 years, Michigan, Colorado, New Mexico, Callifornia, and now Georgia. Each place is beautiful. s Hawaii. I am the proud mother of two boys. My oldest son is Bobby, age 20. My youngest is Enoch, age 18. Both are attending Augusta State University in Augusta, Georgia. Both of my sons are blessed to be big men (not small like myself). Bobby is built like his dad, 5'10", 225 lbs. Enoch is 6'1'' and an excellent runner. The biggest joy in my life is the life I now have serving Jesus Christ. Without Him, I am nothing. With Him, I have everything. He loves you, too. I do hope to hear from some of you soon. May the Lord bless you, Kathy Strother Steele
