Katherine's Story
Life
MY LIFE in 4000 characters or less. I was Assistant District Sales Manager for the Moline Dispatch at the Geneseo Office for 13 years, recently the office closed for I am out of a job. I've been married for 33 years to Gary, have 3 grown children, a daughter in law, a son in law and two granddaughters.
My best friends would tell you I'm a little shy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as out-going.
I share my home with four cats, which I find wonderful, but a little hairy.
One do-over? I would have studied more in school and gone to college. Still unsure as what I'd do there, but I know I should have gone ...Expand for more

My oldest friend is Diane Lindell Pace. We've known each other since we were babies. We had a lot of fun growing up in the neighborhood, playing with her cats, learning to play pinocle and drink coffee. I think her mom taught me to make red velvet cake.
My first job was at Northside Rexall Drug store, where I got paid 1.75 an hour to clerk and stock shelves. What I remember most about it is Larry Shannon and Clyde Johnson teasing me all the time.
On my sixth birthday, I was having my friends from kindergarten over for lunch, my brother hit me in the head with a cap gun and I had to have stitches. Nice memory, huh Brucie!
