Katie's Story
Katie is from Washington, District of Columbia. She is married with Jared Fixico. Her schools include Strother High School. She later attended Haskell Indian Nations University. She works(ed) at Domestic Goddess, Indian Health Service.

I'm Shoshone-Bannock, Cheyene, Seminole woman. I grew up on the Fort Hal Reservation. Went to High School in Oklahoma and became an adult in Washington, D.C. I have many homes but DC is where my heart will always be.
Currently I'm a stay at home mom to two amazing kids, an almost 4 year old and a 1 & 1/2 year old. I'm also married to the most amazingly imperfect human. He's like my 3rd child but also one of my best teachers of life I have ever known. My husband is a hard-working soldier in the United States Army. He may not love it everyday but he loves what he does and takes pride in himself like not other. That makes me proud to stand by his side and be the best wife I can be. It definitely helps that he's pretty easy on the eyes and sexy as hell in that uniform. :)
For now, I'm just doing my best to manifest the greatest possibilities for me and my family. Doing what makes me happy and living life to the fullest. Life is good.
