Katie Cuthbertson:  

I remained in Charlotte after college (primarily Matthews and Indian Trail), working at various tax/finance-related positions before becoming a stay-at-home mom while my youngest was in preschool. I spent many of those years working for my father's accounting firm, where I also kept the books and managed the online presence for Blanket America Ministries, Inc., our Christian ministry of missions, disaster relief and evangelism. I directed weddings for our church and have been involved in our youth ministry since college. In the summer of '16, I returned to school full-time to finish (finally!) my bachelor's degree -- while still working in accounting, selling our house & one car, buying another house, being caregiver for my husband, and raising the one teenage boy we still had at home.
