Katrina's Story
Life
I remain single. Over the past ten years, I have lived in SC, NC, and VA. Each step has contributed to continued growth and increased my passion for making a difference one life at a time. Grief has been a frequent visitor as I have experienced the deaths of my Daddy, along with my older brothers, Pat and Michael. y spiritual journey and seeking more insight into the Benedictine lifestyle. This past year, I have enjoyed a time of sabbatical with the sisters in Florida and private retreat on the Gulf Coast of Florida. The mountains, too, have played a role in my journey and speak to me as no other place can and when I return to them, it is as if I am coming home. I enjoy people and I enjoy times of solitude. A central purpose, a central philosophy - - use whatever tools necessary to make a difference and to encourage others to increase in healthier ways for their life and families. Georgia will always be home for me but like Dorothy, I have found that you can't go home again, Toto! I remain open to the future and what lies ahead. Admittedly, somewhere I would like to plant some roots but that place has not yet materialised.
