Kay's Story

Life I was a RN at NC Baptist Hospital for 10 years. I had an accident at work and a complication from injury made me disabled. I was trained in the Americans with Disabilities Act, and also am a certified Chaplain. I work very parttime for Pathways For the Future as an Independent Living Specialist. husband and I moved to western NC. I have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. For hobbies, I collect Barbies and kangaroo figurines or stuffed. I am very active in my church serving in outreach with a foodbank and a group for people with disabilities. It is my goal to attend seminary to become a hospital chaplain.
