Kay's Story

Life The journey from Carpenter High School to Yukon, Oklahoma has been exciting and challenging sometimes all in one year. Along the way I've lived in Korea, Missouri, Nebraska and Texas. Each year at wheat harvest time, I remember the fun of living behind the grocery store, the special memories of my Mom sorting the mail and my Dad waiting on customers. he internet as our children live in Alaska, Virginia, Arkansas, Texas and Oklahoma City. Wayne and I met at the North West Oklahoma City Rotary Club. Our home looks out on the 10th fairway of the Surrey Hills Golf Club in Yukon, Oklahoma. I regret my Dad did not live long enough to enjoy his favorite pastime – golf – on this course.
