Kay's Story
Life
I've been living in Bangkok, Thailand since 1994 and teaching second grade at an International school.
I have 4 children- a son, Ab, living & working in the Greensburg area. He got married & had a son in 2006.
A daughter, Kamie, moved to the Greensburg area & is going to WCCC and working.
A daughter, Jacquelyn, is looking at going to culinary school and eventually wants to open her own restaurant. She is also going to WCCC & is in the apprenticeship program. She is working at a restuarant & loving every minute of it!!
An adopted son, Pratan, that is in 3rd grade with me in Bangkok. He is happy just being a little boy at this time.
Life changed dramamatically in 2005 when Albert died suddenly. We have been able to start living again.
Teaching in Bangkok has been great! I teach at the International Community School in Bangkok. This year I have 20 students. The children are great and it is fun learning about so many different cultures. I definately enjoy trying new foods and have lots of opportunity to do so. This year my 5th class will graduate.

fun seeing some of you while I was in the states this summer. I wish I could have seen more and could have been at the reunion.
Many changes are in the works!! I'm engaged! My fiance is from PA and I will be moving back to the states at the end of this school year. We will get married in Bangkok on June 6th and then in July get married in PA. Planning 2 weddings is a bit hectic!! I have to sort all of the stuff the kids have left here & the things that have accumulated over the years so I can get a shipment ready, too.
Pratan is in the Cub Scouts this year; our school decided to host a Pack and a Troop. He is very excited about all the things we are going to do to earn his bear badge! He is looking forward to going on some campouts, too. Good old fashion boy stuff just what he has been wanting to do!! You know his mom isn't a very good boy! He has to remind me of that regularly, too! Especially when I'm wearing my heels just to stay taller than him!!
We will look forward to seeing you in the states when we return.
Blessings to you all!
