Life
Married w/3 great kids - all girls. Life is good and I'd love to get in touch w/some old friends. Email is best...wow, this site doesn't like outside email addresses. Guess you'll have to request it personally...
Living in Connecticut since 1986, after years in Louisville, Milwaukee and Boston, where I met my wife (and learned how to drive). Seriously, there is no such thing as defensive driving in Boston. It is all out aggressive. When I moved there and had my MO plates on the car I would have been better of with a "Student Driver" sticker on the trunk because we go easier on the kids.
New England really is a great place to be (except for the cost of living which can best be described as crippling) and it it very different from StL. Our town isn't quite classic New England like you'll find in in VT/NH/ME (watch Funny Farm), but the Zoning Committee is working on it. We're 2 hours from Boston, 2-1/2 from NYC ("the city"), and one each from the coast (beaches) and skiing.

ackground all spring/summer/fall to watch nearly every game. There are a lot of games...I drop out at around 140 (August/September).
Sadly my girls aren't interested in running, but are rather into Softball and Volleyball which is more fun to watch anyway. Among our friends we count many transplanted Mid-westerners and we can be found tailgating in the outfield 3 nights a week in the summer.
Tracy is very involved in the local schools as we have one each in HS, MS and E. No Junior High here - they're Middle Schools for 8th and 9th grade. Depending on the school and the time of year she's either being a room parent, serving on the PTO, developing enrichment programs (art, mostly) or working with the Educational Enrichment Fund for things like Smart Boards, etc. The rest of the time she's looking for her cell phone to confirm that someone's ready for a pickup or a drop-off (kids really can send thousands of text messages a month...). We see each other every other Tuesday...
Well, I hope you're all doing well. I see through the map function that I'm the only '80 in New England (I know Mr. Umlauf works in NYC, and he may be the nearest). I like to think I'm at least representing Missouri well. If you're ever in NE, you're close. Come on by - I keep a stocked beer fridge in the garage.
