Kay's Story
Life
After living in Oklahoma for 35 years, I have moved back to my very old stomping grounds. I lost the love of my life in May, 2002 and moved here with my son and his family. My brothers are still living here and I wanted to be with family. Am currently retired and would love to see some of my friends from Blue Springs. Things have changed SO much here. Am busy trying to make a new life here, which is harder than I thought. But never fear, I'll make it!!!
It has now been five years since 2002 and I am back iin Oklahoma. Just couldn't make ends meet and I was really lonely. So, I packed it all up and moved to Featherston, OK. It is so beautiful here and I guess I have love...Expand for more
d Oklahoma so much that I just couldn't stay away. My current address is R.R. 1, Box 2436, Quinton, OK 74561. Would love to hear from any of you, especially if someone is going to plan our 50th high school reunion.
Workplace
After arriving in OKC, I became involved in all aspects of insurance--underwriting health cov., developing policies from scratch, adjusting claims and worked for a few different Ins. companies. Then I began the journey of what I always wanted to do and that was work in the health field. I worked for cancer docs for 12 years before retiring. It gave my life a lot more meaning being able to help others. Most of it was administrative, but I enjoyed our patients.
