Kedenna's Story
Who am I now...that is a big question but an easy answer. I'm a mom of 3 beautiful children. Jeff is 16 and my twins...Rachel and Alexis are 15. They are my world. I have been raising them on my own since 1995, and I have no regrets. I'm very involved in their life...I'm the band booster mom, I'm the mom who takes all the kids where they want to go, I'm the mom that lets them all come over and hang out at the house, I'm the mom that chaperones the church youth activities or school activities. I figure if I know where they are and what they are doing and who they are doing it with....we are all better off. My philosophy is keep them busy so they don't have time to get in trouble...so far this is working...they are GREAT kids.
But while doing all of this I still make time for myself...that is how I keep my sanity. I'm a computer tech for a local company here in Portsmout...Expand for more
h and I travel to schools all over southern Ohio taking care of computerized cash registers in the school cafeteria...I love my job.
I make time to hang out with my life long best friends like Ginnie Lyons (Ashley), Debbie LeBrun (Yonce) and Dianne Rutherford (Bussler). We are still close after all of these years being out of High School.
I have a personal relationship with God and that helps me keep it all together and keeps me focused on living life the way it should be. Don't know how I would have made it through these years of raising my kids alone had God not been there right beside me helping me make the right decisions or helping me correct the wrong ones.
Raising my kids on my own was not something I had planned, however, I wouldn't change a thing. I figure one day God will send someone to share my life, until then I'm happy enjoying the blessings He has given me.
