Keith's Story
Life
A specialist in organizational change, business development, education, and the arts, Keith Archuleta has provided over 25 years of service to businesses, schools, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies throughout California.
He is recognized as an innovative leader, manager, consultant, evaluator, legislative aide, executive director, board member and volunteer.
He has founded several Bay Area arts and youth programs and has served on the boards of TheatreWorks and Leap:ÃÂ
Imagination in Learning. He is currently Vice President of Finance on the Contra Costa Council Board of Directors and President of the Opportunity Junction Board of Directors. In addition, he is currently a member of the Antioch Chamber of Commerce and the Pittsburg Rotary Club as well as on the steering committee of East County Leadership, class of 2001.
He has earned a Masters degree in Nonprofit Organizational Management from the University of San Francisco and two bachelor degrees from Stanford University.
A long-time poet and writer, he has been published in National Library of Poetry and Poetry Guild anthologies.
He is cited in the International WhoÃÂs Who of Entrepreneurs for his accomplishments as President of EMERALD CONSULTING, a firm he founded in 1992.

se for his work as a consultant to the Arts Education FunderÃÂs Collaborative and the Elementary Arts Education program in San Francisco. He recently completed work on the Mayfair Neighborhood Improvement Initiative in San Jose, supported by the Hewlett Foundation and the Community Foundation Silicon Valley.
He recently served for seven years as the Executive Director of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Contra Costa County, a nonprofit organization that provides well-trained volunteer advocates for abused and neglected children in the Contra Costa County Juvenile Court system. He serves on the Board of Directors of the California CASA Association.
He is currently a consultant to the East County Business-Education Alliance and to the Contra Costa Economic Partnership - Workforce Initiative, developing opportunities for students to gain career awareness, workplace experience, and life skills.
In addition, he is an ordained minister and serves as Minister of Community Relations and Development at Antioch Christian Center and a leader of the Men's Ministry there.
He and his wife, Iris, reside in Antioch California and are members of Antioch Christian Center. He has a son, Dorian, a grand son, Nayan Anthony, who is 9 years old, and a grand daughter, Viva, who is 16 months.
