More about Keith:"My Great-Great-Great Grandfather, Samual Bishop, fought in the Civil War as a Union soldier of the 11th Vermont Infantry, Company C. He fought in the Battle of Petersburg and in the Battle of Cedar Creek. He received the Purple Heart due to sustaining a gunshot wound to the left shoulder during the Battle of Petersburg.".
