Shirley's Story
Life
Went to Grove City College after graduation. Married in 1980, divorced 1990. Have 3 adult sons, 2 daughter in laws and 5 grandsons. I remarried in July of 2008 to a wonderful man that I met on eHarmony, Keith McCauley. I worked at BC3 for 17 years in various roles-tutor, teacher and computer lab supervisor. I decided to get my master’s degree at SRU. I graduated in 2006 with an MA degree in College Student Personnel and was selected as Graduate Student of the Year in that program. n in their FiOS phone tech support. I discovered that wasn’t the job for me and left in 2013.
In 2018, a friend convinced me to take a pottery class with her at the Butler Art Center. I ended up being the secretary of the Board and served in that capacity until November of 2025.
Currently I live in Slippery Rock with Keith and 2 cats, Bubbacat and Squeaks. I’m enjoying being home and being able to be involved in my church, Orchard Hill church at the Butler campus and co-leading a Bible study group called BSF International.
