Kella's Story
Life
I moved to Florida after graduation in 83. I attended Florida Institue of Technology. I ended up working in Accounting taking various classes after graduation. Now 20 years later, I find I love my job and feel very lucky to be able to say that. I am now a "half back", making the move to Tennessee in June 07. I was very fortunate to find a wonderful job in a community health center as the CFO. I now have 12 alpacas, 2 Llamas and 22 Boer goats. My farm has really begun to grow. Long Branch Alapacas & Boer Goats has become a reality in Hohenwald, TN.
School
I can't help but think back to all the great times I had in school...Killer 1 & 2, Karla and I always doing something a little off the wall, football games, roller skating, and all those Little Italy Festivals. I also count myself lucky to have attended a great school like South Vermillion with great people I still ...Expand for more
call friends. It is so nice to be able to call Mary on our way home from work even though we are 500+- miles apart (the wonders of cell phones). Would love to hear from everyone.
College
I attended FIT Jensen Beach from 1983-1986. The main campus decided to sell the JB campus and the students were forced to transfer to other schools. Had a great 3 years at FIT though. The students and facilty were great. Made great friends. Unfortunately lost touch with most of them. Would love to hear from fellow FIT -JB alumni.
Workplace
I am the CFO for a nonprofit community health center in Linden, TN. Since this is different from my previous work experience, I am enjoying the challenges of this new job. I have the unique opportunity to work with a great group of indiviuals. The staff has been very welcoming to the newcomer. I look forward to many years with this wonderful company.
