Kelly's Story
Life
After graduation, I went to UNLV for a year and a half as an education major. My mother became terminally ill with breast cancer and I made the decision to give up my scholarship so I could spend quality time with her in her remaining months. A year later, I returned to school. This time to CCSN. I changed my major and obtained an AA as a paralegal. I have worked in the same law firm for 10 years now...first as a receptionist, secretary, paralegal and now as office manager. oyed six wonderful and wild years being single. In 2004, I married my husband, Eric. I am now a military wife. I have had the opportunity to travel to England many times and look forward to returning to Europe next year. I cannot have children, but might adopt one day. I enjoy spending time with my family and closest friends. I am very active with local politics and with a non-profit organization called "My Hope Chest". My Hope Chest provides breast reconstructive surgery to breast cancer survivors who do not have health insurance or the resources to pay for it.
