Kelly Hale's Story
I grew up in Concord, California. Attended Meadow Homes Elementary and then Loma Vista Intermediate (Junior High) School. Family moved to San Jose, California for high school (Andrew P. Hill) and San Jose City College. Then moved to Anchorage, Alaska. Attended University of Alaska (accounting/economics). Lived there for 10 years before moving to East Coast. Attended Hunter College (economics). Worked in Manhattan for 12 years as a legal administrator. Met my husband in Connecticut at a country/western dance! When he retired we moved to our 22 acres in rural Vermont and live in a log home that my husband designed!

t, it's peaceful, quiet and the air is fresh and clean. We grew our own vegetables; enjoyed the big outdoors: hiking, snowshoeing, motorcycling, biking, watching moose, bear, deer, birds. We heated our home with a wood stove. We had chickens and a rooster -- fresh eggs!
In 2016 we downsized and moved from Vermont to Idaho into a 55+ community. We enjoy riding the bike paths on our electric tricycle (double seating is side-by-side), concerts in the park, walking to grocery stores, restaurants, parks, etc. as much as we can.
