Life Hmmm...lots to try to sum up in 4000 characters or less, especially considering how long-winded I tend to be. (Clearly, those of you who know me well will note that some things never change ;). Since high school, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and (for a study-abroad program), Moscow State University, majoring in Journalism, Russian and International Relations. Professionally, my experience has been diverse, including a stint in print, photo and broadcast journalism in Russia and throughout the former Soviet Union, then I was a Personell/Training Specialist at an US-IT company. At the end of 1997, I moved back overseas and have been living in Europe ever since. First, I was an Account Manager at an International Advertising Agency in Romania, then I spent 4 1/2 years in Prague, the Czech Republic, working as a Human Resources Manager at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL).
