Kelly's Story
Life
The third time's a charm and I'm living the fairy tale now. John and I have 6 kids; 5 are gone and 1 is leaving the nest in January after her weddng. I retired from teaching at Bloomingdale Sr. High in Hillsborough County as a senior English teacher, Forensics coach and club sponsor, GUitar and ACAC ( Asian Culture and AnimeClub) sponsor. I would love to hear from friends from home. The last classmate I've seen is B. Gordon in Tallahassee, and the last heard from is A. Cooke in Lufkin. GO AIR FORCE!!! On Guam I knew Matt and Quin. I have 2 dogs, am a published writer and nationally certified Archery instructor. I also know how to ride western and Paso Finos. Most of all, though I love the cultural life here- the wide variety of food, music and artistic activities. I could NEVER live in Diboll again, and that is why I never came back-there's nothing there for me.

Military
Today I have students who ask about military service. I tell them it is great, it will help them grow up, sort out what they want to do, educate them, train them and provide for them if they retire. You get to visit other countries and cultures, make memories and serve your country, all while being paid to do it! I highly recommend it for girls because of the equal pay for equal work. I highly recommend it for those who are adventurous and accomodating.
Retirement
Now that I am retired, my husband, parents and I go out to lunch, eat dinner at home together, shop a little, help my chickaritas out, bowl once a week on chick league, play with my dogs, garden, play games on computer, read, watch movies, and volunteer with ACS- American Cancer Society. We are also planning mini vacations, including an overnighter with the parents to the best beach-#2 in the world!
