Kelly's Story
Life
After high school graduation 1966 from Clare High School, in Michigan, I went to Michigan Techological University in Houghton, MI. I spent two wasted years there, did not stay on task very well. I spent the next 3 years1968-1971 in the Army, 10th Special Forces Unit with final assignment in Fort Devens MA. I was in Kentucky, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Germany, and England. I was married in December 1968. I had a son born in April 1970 (Michael Todd) at Fort Devens, MA. After the service, I spent a year driving truck, In 1972 I began working for the State of Michigan in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and in October of that year went to RN school at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. A daughter (Lauri Ann) was born in December 1972. In March of 1976 we decided it was time to move back to Mount Pleasant, Michigan. I and my wife both transferred to the Mount Pleasant Regional Center. In September we seperated and in 1977 divorced. total of 11 grand children and all of the family is doing well. In 1987 we purchased a small farm in Rosebush, Michigan. Both my wife and I enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, golf, and we both are avid bowlers. In 2002 I retired from the State of Michigan, and have really began to enjoy life to its fullest. I spend a great deal of time reading, walking, spending time with friends. In 2003 we joined a hunting and fishing club in the upper pensulia of Michigan called the Hiawatha Sportmans Club, it is over 36,000 acres of undisturbed land, it has its own golf course, dozens of lakes, and streams, several club anemities, art club, dances, fishing classes, skeet range, shooting range, 3d bow target range, and miles of trails to walk and ride. It is a great place. As you see I am now extremely happy and content with my present life. Let me know what's up with you that know me.
Workplace
I began working in Kalamazoo as an Attendant Nurse, went to RN school and worked as a Nursing Supervisor in Men's Hospital until 1976. Transferred to Mt. Pleasant and worked as an RN and RN supervisor until 2002 when I retired.
