Kelly's Story
Life
I have a husband and two kids (boy 2000, girl 2002), 2 cats, 2 lizards. I live south of Miami, FL in Homestead right before the Florida Keys. I have been teaching 3rd grade for 3 years now. (06/07) I received a Master's Degree in education this summer (2007).
College
I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and a minor in Psychology. I completed my field work at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, FL in 1997 and my internship the followi...Expand for more
ng summer, 1998, at Baptist Hospital of South Miami.
I worked at Brann's Steakhouse as a cocktail waitress and worked in GVSU's mailroom. I ended up in Miami while taking a sailing trip with my boss and his wife to the Florida Keys. This is where I met my husband. (June 1995)
I am attending Barry University 2005/2006 to receive my masters in elementary education.
Workplace
I am currently working at Redland Elementary School in Homestead, FL; as a 3rd grade teacher. (Began in 2004 - present)
