Kelvin's Story
It's been a weird ride. The loner misfit geek you knew in the 80s moved to Ohio for college, got engaged at 20 and thankfully did not marry. I became a newspaper sports writer/editor/photographer for 10 years, and woke up one day realizing I needed to grow up and get a "real" job. I got a job at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station and have been a computer/web programmer for the last 8 years. I met my wife 10 years ago and we have three beautiful girls. I coach softball for 2 of my daughters.

I never thought St. Mary's County would be where I'd end up. Chicago, St. Louis or New York were my dream locations. But I love where I live, enjoy my family and like my job. I left Queen Anne in my rear-view mirror on graduation day, hoping that happiness would be around the corner. It took me more than 10 years later to realize happiness is where you decide to make it. I hope that on your journey you too have found joy, love, happiness and fulfillment.
