Kenneth's Story
After frustrating, and likely retiring a long lineup of teachers, I joined the US Navy as an Electronics Technician and Instructor. I served from '82 to '88. I wasn't through milking the taxpayers yet, so from '89 to '95 I managed a communications overhaul depot for the Navy. After that money dried up I moved on to the world of consumer electronics, working for a TV repair shop from '96 to '03. In '03 I fulfilled my masochistic tendencies by working for the cable company as a technical rep. I continued my abusive relationship with cable and internet consumers for the next fifteen years, after which my cardiologist informed me that it was time to retire. My boss from the TV shop, Robert Nelson, turned out to be a pioneer in the field of cryonics, the practice of freezing people at the time of legal death in the hope reviving them when future ...Expand for more
science permits. He asked me to help him write a book based on his experience. After years of research and writing, the Book Freezing People is Not Easy was published in 2014. Please purchase several copies, as retiring on disability doesn't provide enough bank to support alcoholism and daily trips to Burger King. In December of 2020 we sold the rights to the book to director Errol Morris and 4th Floor Productions for a book to film deal. I'm currently living in San Jacinto, CA near my best friend Eddi Giese and his wife Oshrit. We spend our time recording musical parodies, and heckling the old farts here in our senior mobile home park. We're looking forward to hanging out on the set when the movie starts filming. Eddi and I are already constructing the casting couch that we'll be using to exploit young actresses who want a part in the film.
