Jimmy Buffett describes his life in 200 words, so I surely can do mine since leaving Beaver High School in fewer (with apologies to Ms. Blakenship for the omission of adjectives, poor punctuation & incomplete sentences)....Attended WVU, BS in Journalism (major: advertising; minor: marketing); post grad in public administration; Theta Chi fraternity; commissioned US Army; worked community planning & emergency services for 8 yrs; did a stint with public relations firm; Chief Operations & Financial Officer for non-profit law firm for 28 yrs; commercial pilot (flew mail, charter & ...Expand for more
corporate); now semi-retired doing management & IT consulting, crafting custom fishing rods(kenscustomrods.com) & performing volunteer work; Parrothead; had numerous dogs, cats & fish; other interests include SCUBA (Divemaster), hang gliding, fishing (fresh & salt; spinning & fly), boating (power & kayak), reading, travel, cooking, spectator sports (all WVU sports & GW High School soccer in particular), photography, music (have not played trumpet since high school or sang in choir since1970), a bit of a gearhead, enjoy wine & love the ocean, especially the Keys & NC Outer Banks.
