Ken's Story
I'm the Sports Editor, or a one-man sports department relying occasionally on stringers, at a small daily newspaper, The Herald Republican in Angola, Indiana. I cover the athletics at 4 high schools and one NCAA Division III university (Trine) along with any recreational happenings in Steuben County, IN.The paper is part of the KPC Media Group family of publications. I write stories and columns, layout pages, edit copy, etc. The class pessimist has turned into a cynical, realistic young curmudgeon. haha
I am really invested in my work, but truly cherish the limited free time that I have, whether it's visiting my parents (both are retired and still going strong) and two younger br...Expand for more
others, catching up with friends, traveling, golfing, or even going to a movie once in awhile.
I'm currently serving on the SHHS Class of 1993 20-year reunion committee. My parents have been involved for a long time organizing class reunions/get-togethers for my dad's class at Fraser High and saw the enjoyment they got from re-connecting and bringing back that class family. So that's my influence for helping out here. It's hard to track down 515 or so classmates, and have not organized anything this big before. But I'm pumped about being a part of the team to bring our class family together with many companions for a wonderful evening on Aug. 3 at The Mirage in Clinton Township.
