Best school prank was leading a tour bus of classmates to stop on the way back from French Pete Wilderness, to stop at the hotsprings, with the professor's bus in lead having to come back to find us! Workplace After UofO, I went to work at the California Energy Commission in their Buildings and Appliances Division, working on performance and prescriptive & simplified building energy compliance methods. While there, Presented 2 papers at an ASES Passive Solar Conference. Now with my firm & a partner, Energy Compliance Systems, Inc., and presented an additional 2 papers to ASES Passive Solar Conferences. Involved in the California Association of Building Energy Consultants, e.g. past Board member. Building energy analyses on thousands of buildings & millions of square feet. Appliance and building energy features studies, inc. market penetration and cost-benefit analysis. Envelope, mechanical (HVAC), lighting and water heating per occupancy types.
