Ken's Story
Life
Well, it seems I've done a lot of things: A psycho tour in the Air Force, construction, driving trucks, Information Technology, rock singer, worked at a ski resort (Solitude) just to be a ski bum for awhile.
While singing (in what was called a "celebrity" New Years gig), I met my wife of 15 years now. We have a sweet 14-year-old girl named Kirie, and I couldn't be prouder. She's my light, and even tamed this wildman. In fact, I started going back to church and just a few years later, I became a member of the Kearns Fifth Ward bishopric. .
We now live in Kearns, Utah. Not too far away, but it still was twenty years before I saw Meridian/Boise again- it was almost unrecognizable.
Am hoping to catch up with many of you at the 25th reunion.
School
I went from Honor Society to having to take summer school to get enough credits to graduate- wish I could go back to fix that. Otherwise, I think I would like to forget all about those days. I'm much happier as an adult, and not being that mixed-up pubescent kid. Don't you just laugh when you think about yourself as a teenager?
As the saying goes, it's no wonder some animals eat their young! LOL

I have a Bachelor's in Information Technology. I would not recommend University of Phoenix for any technical degree. I would recoommend Utah Career College, now that they have improved their program. You can only get an Associates at this time.
Workplace
Military
Like all airmen, I went to San Antonio for basic training end of August 1981. After that I went to Denver (Lowry Air Force Base) for a year of tech school, and then to Holloman (Alamogordo, NM) for the next (almost) three years.
While at Holloman, I skied at Sierra Blanca(now called Ski Apache), and Whitecloud. Partied hard at White Sands, played softball for the Holloman Suns, and squadron teams. I really enjoyed fastpitch softball. I also got the attention of the Bitburg Barons, perennial European Football Champs when they watched me play intramural football against an army team. Obviously, I was bigger, stronger, and faster than when I was in high school at 5'8" 210, and running a 4.5 40 and an outstanding shuttle run time.
Spent some time in Germany for the "Reforger" NATO exercises. What a great time that was. Also ran into Randy Clark in some tiny town there- what a small world.
