Ken's Story
Life
I was born and raised on the Southwest Side of Chicago (a.k.a. - South Side Irish). I attended Queen of Martyrs from 1976-1984, Brother Rice HS from 1984-1988, and then Northern Illinois University from 1988-1996. After college, I began woking in High School District 214 where I am a teacher and a coach. In 2000, I moved from the South Side to Wheeling.

I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1996, where I receive a BS in Educatio...Expand for more
n, Minor in Sports Medicine and beacme a Certified Athletic Trainer. After graduating from Northern, I started working for Township HS District 214 at Wheeling High School. This year(2002), I transfered to Hersey High School where I am teaching Physical Education. I also coach Girls Diving at Wheeling HS, Boys Diving at Prospect HS, and Girls Badminton at Hersey HS. It makes for long days, but I can honestly say that I look forward to going to work each day.
