Ken's Story
Workplace
I am currently employed by Southwestern Oklahoma State University as Dean of the College of Professional and Graduate Studies. The schools in the College of Graduate Studies include the School of Allied Health; School of Behavioral Sciences, Education and Graduate Studies; School of Business and Technology; and, School of Nursing.
I, in addition to five of the Park Law Enforcement Faculty, am responsible for providing law enforcement to SWOSU University Park and six juvenile offender adjudicated facilities which is also a part of the College of Professional and Graduate Studies academic unit. In that capacity, I serve as a SWOSU park ranger under the commission of Southwestern Oklahoma State University and its campus police force.

I am also project investigator for an annual five million dollar Office of Juvenile Affairs' contract for four juvenile adjudicated residential care facilities. At any given time SWOSU, under my supervision, provides behavior modification for sixty-four male juvenile delinquents or youthful offenders in these homes through adventure programming, job training and traditional methods of therapy. I have been employed at SWOSU since 1974.
My recreational/leisure time is spent operating a small ranching operation raising angus and brangus cattle. Time spent in the outdoors is rewarding and a tremendous stress reliever. My wife Susan and I have four great children. They are David, D'Ann, Wesly, and Tiler. Southwestern has been a great place to work.
