Ken's Story
Life
I am a free lance music journalist specializing in Anglo-European folk/roots music and have a part time job as a telephone fundraiser for "Peace Action." Never married; no children. Travelled to England 9 times; Canada 5 times; Israel once. Pretty "alternative" politically. Have a great niece and nephew. Sorry to say my mother, Joanne Roseman, passed away July 3,2002 after a series of strokes. My father, Donald Roseman, passed away in 1995. Those of you interested in folk/roots/world music should check out "SING OUT!" magazine-- among the other great features, I always have at least several CD reviews in each issue! As of May 2005 am now back in MD. Bought a 1 bedroom in the Eastern Village co-housing building on Eastern Avenue in downtown Silver Spring. Travelled to England last summer for the 2004 Fairport Convention festival; travelled to Montreal, Quebec last February for the 2005 FOLK ALLIANCE conference. Heard a lot of great music from Quebec and elsewhere.
Back to England for the Fairport convention festival in 2006 and 2008. New apt. is also filled with CD's, books, etc etc...
