Our senior year I started working in old town Monta Vista for a fire sprinkler company doing drafting, pipe fitting and installation, worked there for 4 years. After high school, I spent 4 years at De Anza, no declared major and therefor no degree. However because of being in the machine tool technology program, I was able to get a job through a friend at a medical device compnay in Mt View. Worked there for 5 years, became an accomplished machinist. Also met my wife and her 2 sons and got married. Then was offered a job to set up a shop for another medical device company, design tooling and machinery to assemble / manufacture the products. Family moved to Manteca (3 now) and I commuted from Manteca to Redwood City for 5 years. In 1990 the company set-up manufacturing in Temecula (between Riverside and San Diego). We moved (all 4 of us) to the high desert west of Palm Springs.
