Life My husband Jack and I have been married for almost eight years and we have 3 wonderful children and a beautiful granddaughter. Our oldest son, Eric is 21. Eric graduated in 2005 from MHS. He is currently attending Rhodes State College studying Physical Therapy. He also plays semi-pro football for the West Ohio Wranglers. Eric married Felissa Contreras, who he has been dating for almost three years, on August 30, 2008. They have a beautiful daughter (our first granddaughter), Jazmine Ali Enriquez. Jazmine is 3 years old, she was born the day after Eric graduated from MHS. Talk about timing! Our middle daughter, Alyssa is 16. Alyssa is a Junior at MHS and plays the mellophone in the St. Marys All Brass Band (SMABB). Our youngest son, Danny is 15. Danny is sophomore at MHS and is on the swim and dive team. My husband Jack received a new heart on February 22, 2006 and is doing excellent. He has to go back to the hospital (The Cleveland Clinic) periodically for biopsys to make sure everything is on track, and so far have all come back excellent. He is expected to live a long and healthy life. We will celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary on December 30. Jack and I are both attending The Ohio State University - Lima campus. We are both majoring in Health Science with a minor in Health management. School I didn't really have a biggest crush in high school. For me, high school was more about hanging out with friends more than anything else. Classes didn't really matter, neither did teachers, it was more about planning for the weekends, all week long. The person who inspired me the most wasn't really a teacher, it was my guidance counselor, Mrs. Liming. She really helped me through some rough times throughout my high school career. If I could go back and do high school all over again I would, as long as I could have the knowledge then that I do now. I would certainly concentrate more on studying and less on partying. I try to instill this philosophy in my children now. "You don't know what you've got until it's gone" certainly applies to high school and once it's over, it's over, and twenty plus years later we are left with nothing but regret. My funniest, happiest, and craziest memories have to be hanging out with friends, doing things we shouldn't be doing, with the constant thrill of getting caught, and believe we did get caught, several times. That's what made high school great for me, even though we didn't think so at the time. My advice to my children is to study hard, make tons of friends, and most importantly, don't have any regrets once it's over. College I only went to college for about 6 months before I decided that it just wasn't for me....Expand for more
