Kenneth's Story
Hi everyone!
It has been quite a ride since June 4th 1970 making for a very interesting life.
I started working for Univac right out of St Paul TVI in 1972, I transferred with my job from MN to FL in 1977. Married in 1979, adopted my wifes' daughter shortly after. We had a daughter together in 1980. Both are grown and have families of their own. I Transferred back to MN in 1981, only to transfer back to FL during the winter of 1982 - 83. TOO COLD. We divorced in 1995. As I was attending divorce recovery at a local church, I met a wonderful lady. A year later we married in 1996. She had a daughter from her previous marriage and she too has her own family. During a routine self-exam in 1998, my wife and I found a lump. In 2006, we lost her battle with breast cancer. her own family as well. Altogether I have 4 daughters, 9 grandchildren. All wonderful kids and grand kids. None of which have seen any real accumulation of snow. When my mother passed away, 2 of the 4 daughters were there for the funeral. I drove them just North of Hinckley in March to see the snow fall. What a sight to see. Two kids, 37 and 29, playing in the snow and making Snow Angels as if they were 5 years old. They had a great time as did I watching them. I have a collection of 1950's Lionel trains that I'm in the process of making up complete sets to give to the grandchildren. They really enjoy them. I've had a few rough spots in my life, and have been blessed with many wonderful memories that can't be erased. It's great to know that I've made a difference in many peoples lives.
