School
I went to Oyler elementary, Roberts Jr. HIgh, Brookville high school, Aiken High school. Moved around quit a bit. I wasn't able to build a large variety of freinds, but the ones I didi meant a lot to me. If I could change anything, I wouldn't have been so scared of the opposite sex. Wait a minute....I'm still scared of the opposite sex.
College
I went to college for 6 months. My professor died during the semester, and the dean of the business college taught the course. Way over my head.
Military
I was in the Navy from Feb 1984-1989. I was stationed aboard the USS Orion (AS-18) out of Italy from Jul 84-Dec 85. I was a storekeeper working in support of ...Expand for more
Submarines. The Orion was the oldest commissioned ship, the last ship made with riveted hull, and the last ship that had been used during WWII when she was decommisioned in 1993. She is currently rustng in Virginia. update--She has since been scrapped
After my 17 months on the Orion I went San Diego aboard the USS Hepburn (FF-1055). During my 3 years on that ship, we deployed 3 times to the Far west and Persian gulf areas. The last deployment, I left in the middle of to assimilate myself back into civilian life. During my time I advanced to E-5.
The Hepburn was decommisioned back in 2000 and was sunk as target off the coast of Washington.
