Hello, After leaving BHS in 1966, I attended Alvin Junior College for one year, partied too much, flunked out and got drafted in the Army. They tried to talk me in to Officer Candidate School, but Officers lasted about 2 days in Viet Nam so I turned them down. I ended up in Missle Operations and Intelligence and was assigned to a small Air Force base in Michigan coordinating Army and Air Force air defense for two years. Once my tour was up, I headed back to Clute, Texas. I spent a few years bumping around jobs and ended up working for Dow Chemical. A short time later I found myself married to Donna Herring. We had two children, Nathan and Rachel. After 7 years, Donna and I split up. I dated around for several months and then met my soul mate, Elaine Perettie, of Burlington, Vermont. She had moved to Texas after a messy divorce. We dated for 6 months and then married and just celebrated our 30th year anniversary!
